Most couples aren't failing.
They're stuck.
Stuck in patterns that made sense at some point, that now just keep leading to the same place. My work is helping you see those patterns clearly — and change them.
I'm Katie Lenger, a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in couples therapy and relationship health. Relationship Health Collective was founded on a commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based care for couples at every stage — from those who want to invest proactively in their relationship to those navigating something really hard.
Direct. Collaborative.
Evidence-based.
I work with couples at every stage — from those who are doing well and want to stay that way, to those navigating something really hard.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in methods that have strong research support. The goal is to help you understand what's happening in your relationship — the patterns, the cycles, the things that keep coming up — and to work together toward something more workable and sustainable. That might mean reducing conflict, deepening connection, building specific skills, or simply getting a clearer picture of where you are.
Grounded in research.
Applied in practice.
I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Tennessee and completed advanced training at Brown University, including a predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship in trauma recovery.
Relationship Health Collective is a telehealth-only practice, authorized through PSYPACT to work with couples across 40+ states. It's an affirming space that welcomes all couples — LGBTQIA2S+ partners, diverse relationship structures, everyone.
