A lot changes when a baby arrives.
Your relationship can be ready for it.
Becoming parents is one of the most significant transitions a couple navigates. The dynamic between you shifts. Communication gets harder. Connection takes more effort. None of that means something is wrong with your relationship. It means you are going through something big, and going through it together takes intention.
The Before Baby Program gives you dedicated time to prepare for that shift before it arrives.

A note on perinatal mental health
Anxiety, depression, OCD, and mood changes are common during pregnancy and after birth. The program covers how these experiences can affect your relationship and how to support each other through them. If one of you is struggling and would benefit from clinical care, Dr. Lenger can talk with you about couples or individual therapy where she is authorized to practice, or help connect you with perinatal mental health support near you.
Six sessions built around
this transition.
The Before Baby Program is tailored to where you are. Before you begin, Dr. Lenger reviews your history and questionnaires and prepares an approach specific to your relationship and your circumstances.
Sessions are virtual and take place weekly, with evening and weekend availability. Prefer to complete it in a condensed intensive format? Ask during your consultation.
The Before Baby Program is relationship education rather than therapy, so it is open to couples anywhere and is not billable to insurance.
