How do we get started?
The first step is a free 15-minute consultation — a chance to share what is bringing you in, ask any questions, and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit. You can schedule directly through the contact page.
Can you work with couples anywhere in Washington DC?
Yes. All sessions are conducted virtually over secure video, so you can meet from wherever you are in Washington DC.
How long does working together last?
That depends on the format and what you are working on. Couples therapy is ongoing and typically runs for several months, though the timeline gets discussed early and revisited as the work progresses. The Relationship Checkup is a brief two-session format that assesses your relationship's strengths and growth areas, builds practical skills, and leaves you with a clear picture of where you are. Couples Intensives compress months of progress into one or two focused days — a good option for couples who want to make meaningful progress quickly, or who are looking for something more targeted to a specific goal or transition. Whatever format you choose, the goal is for the structure to fit your life and your goals.
